Wicked's Elphaba Thropp is a distinct character, with one of her defining physical features being her green skin. Since the Wicked Witch of the West's onscreen debut in The Wizard of Oz, the green skin has been deeply intertwined with the character's legacy. Elphaba grows up facing prejudice and ridicule because of the color of her skin. She's a minority of one.
Who stars on stage and screen in ‘Wicked’?
