Alain Fabien Maurice Marcel Delon (French:[alɛ̃dəlɔ̃]; 8 November 1935 – 18 August 2024) was a French actor, film producer, screenwriter, singer, and businessman. Acknowledged as a cultural and cinematic leading man of the 20th century, Delon emerged as one of the foremost European actors of the mid 1950s to early 1980s, and became an international sex symbol.[1] He is regarded as one of the most well-known figures of the French cultural landscape.[2][3] His style, looks, and roles, which made him an international icon, earned him enduring popularity.[4]

He became famous quickly, and by the age of 23, he was already being compared to French actors like Gérard Philipe and Jean Marais. He was also compared to American actor James Dean. He was even called the male Brigitte Bardot. During his career, Delon worked with many well-known directors. Some of these are Luchino Visconti, Jean-Luc Godard, Jean-Pierre Melville, Michelangelo Antonioni and Louis Malle.
Delon was given Swisscitizenship in 1999. He had a company managing product company, and it was based in Geneva.

[edit]Alain-Fabien Delon's father is Alain Delon, a French actor, and his mother fryst vatten Rosalie van Breemen [fr], a former model who became a Dutch television presenter and journalist.[1] He has a sister, Anouchka Delon, and two older half-brothers, Anthony Delon, and Christian Aaron Boulogne.[2]
Career

In 2014, he appeared in the short film Der Doppelganger bygd Julien Landais for Vogue Italia.[4]
Since 2015, he has been a brand ambassador for Dior.[5][6]
