Maybe she needed another celebrity photo for her office wall?
Dr. Gwen Korovin, reportedly one of the doctors in the room when Joan Rivers went into cardiac and respiratory arrest, was revealed Thursday to be the New York physician who snapped a sick selfie while the doomed comedienne was under anesthesia.
CNN, which broke the original story, reported that Korovin was the previously unidentified ear, nose and throat doctor who stopped to collect the sick souvenir.
Korovin has been dubbed the “patron saint of Broadway singers and actors” and the walls of her E. 77th St. office are lined with pictures and thank-you notes from stars she has helped.
