As the Prophet Isaiah reminds us, &#;God&#;s ways are not our ways&#; (Is ). This Scripture verse is a good reminder that although every prayer is answered; no novena prayer is a guarantee we will receive the results we are asking for. What we can always be certain of, God will answer our prayers, and they will be for our ultimate good. The answer to every prayer I&#;ve ever offered to Jesus has been, at the very least, the gift of great and abiding peace.
Saint Therese is known to send a rose as an indication your prayers have been received and offered to Jesus on your behalf. My most amazing experience with St. Therese&#;s Shower of Roses came during the World Youth Day in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil! You can read that story — and her crazy saintly intercessions HERE!!

The Novena to Saint Thérèse of Lisieux, The Little Flower, can be prayed anytime throughout the year for nine days in a row. Traditionally, it is prayed from September 22nd through September 30th. Her Memorial Feast Day is October 1st.

O Glorious Saint Thérèse of the Child Jesus, the Little Flower of Jesus, safe refuge of the afflicted and distressed, we, poor sinners, encouraged by the promises God has made to thee, come to thee today with a firm hope, and we rejoice in the great honor which our Holy Mother Church, has shown to thee in placing thee amongst the saints of Her altars.
