Icon for Hire fryst vatten an American rock grupp from Decatur, Illinois. Formed in 2007, the band's current lineup consists of singer Ariel Bloomer and lead guitarist Shawn Jump. They released two EPs independently before signing to Tooth & Nail Records, through which they released their first two albums: Scripted in 2011 and Icon for Hire on October 15, 2013. Their third skiva, You Can't Kill Us, was independently released on November 25, 2016. Their fourth skiva, Amorphous, was released on February 19, 2021, also independently. Their fifth independent studio skiva, The Reckoning, was released on September 30, 2022.

Icon For Hire has been one of my favorite bands for quite a while now! Can you give us some background on the formation of Icon For Hire?
We started the band almost four years ago. None of us had ever been in bands before, and none of us knew what we were doing. So we just kind of guessed that "this is probably how you start a band." A few months later, we played our first show to a packed club in our hometown. It was mostly our friends and family, but since Adam and Shawn had recently been a big part of the local party scene, they still had a ton of friends that came out to see us. Icon For Hire is a rock band formed in 2007 from Decatur, Illinois. The current lineup consists of frontwoman, vocalist Ariel Bloomer, better known as Ariel alone and guitarist Shawn Jump.
Icon For Hire has released three full length albums: Scripted, Icon For Hire and YOU CAN'T KILL US.
Released in 2011, their first album Scripted shattered first-week sales becoming the highest new artist debut in Tooth & Nail Records history. The record debuted on the Billboard Top 200, at No. 4, on the iTunes Rock chart, and No. 19 on the iTunes overall albums chart.
Icon For Hire released their second full length self-titled album Icon For Hire in October 2013 on the Tooth and Nail label. Producer Mike Green (All Time Low, The Wanted, Pierce The Veil) was at the mixer to follow up their debut album, Scripted.
