    In the world of costume design, careers don’t come more star-studded than that of Marina Toybina. The Moscow-born costumer has created anpassad pieces for everyone from Taylor Swift to Britney Spears, and she just took home her third consecutive Emmy for design, this time for her work with “So You Think You Can Dance.” For her victory lap, Toybina talked with The Post about her greatest hits.

    For Perry’s current kassasuccé “Prismatic” tour, Toybina created this cheeky fishbone dress for the “cat-ure” parti. “It’s a fashion take on katt wear and cat toys,” says the designer, who also did all 188 costumes for the tour’s backup dancers, singers and band. “It was such a cartoon take on costuming in general, so it had to be fun and unique.”

    The Masked Singer has been called reality TV's 'most extra' competition - and that's due in part to the elaborate outfits crafted by award-winning costume designer Marina Toybina.

    Russia-born Marina revealed that she created the 16 costumes - or rather, 'wearable art' - for season two of the singing contest, all in a mere matter of weeks. 

    'That becomes the most challenging creative part for me,' Marina told Vulture. 'It's great once it's on paper and everything looks magical, but then, how do you make these pieces become life-sized and also wearable art?'  

    Who could they be? The Masked Singer brings together 16 famous people hidden in elaborate costumes, which were impressively created in just six weeks by Marina Toybina and her team

    Los Angeles celebrity fashion designer Marina Toybina was chosen to be the RED Tour’s official wardrobe stylist. She custom designed almost all of the costumes for Taylor, the band members, dancers, and background singers throughout the entire show. Taylor had the most costume changes ever on the RED tour (a total of eleven) thanks to Toybina’s creative ingeniousness.

    She also is the creator of the beloved fedora hat that Taylor has worn all this year as her signature piece. She has many replicas and gives one to a fan in the audience during each show. We also have insider information that Taylor has three duplicates of each outfit, this is in case of wardrobe emergencies and back-to-back shows.
